Symbolic Camera

Featured are some pictures of a symbolic camera I made as part of a visual anthropology project at university. It is quite simply a box (I believe it was a box of frozen chicken nuggets if I recall correctly!), the box was then covered in beer mats. The reasoning behind the design choices is that I wanted it to represent in some fashion the film I was making. As the film was going to be made in pubs I went for the beer mats as the main design, and I wanted it to look quite haphazard, shabby, D.I.Y in nature, as this is often the nature of the gig scene at a local level.
